We are the NIC-10 Conference Champions ! Freshman/Sophomore level!

1st place as a team! Out of 10!

Held at Auburn, with a brand new turf field and nice track. Unfortunately it was a tad windy and colder for a May meet. Somewhere around 50 degrees today.

My individual results:
Triple Jump: 5th place
-Was seeded essentially at 2nd or 1st. Couldn't get past 36 ft, 1 in. Felt absolutely horrid, not being able to make anywhere into the pit. Felt cold, F/S was against the wind.
-On another thought, the first place jumper did not use a true triple jump sequence. But since the officiator of the triple jump didn't see it, there was no scratch. He did a R-L-R bound into the pit, significantly increasing his triple jump distance.

100m Dash: 5th place
-Preliminary time was a 11.38 second, which a MASSIVE PR over 11.69 seconds, great way to end the season. Finals was a 11.52 or so. But the best part is that all 8 finalists finished within 0.1 seconds of each other. We looked like one unitary wave storming down that 100m straight. The FAT finish took pretty long to determine the order. But I was literally less than 0.1 seconds away from first, AND less than 0.1 seconds away from last. A really great experience and fun race!

4x100m relay: 4th place

PR with somewhere around a 46 seconds? Will check Dyestat results as they come out. Top 3 were strong, with us trailing behind them, but maintaining a huge lead over all the others. Right in the middle. Handoffs were alright, nothing surprising

4x200m relay: 4th place

Another PR with around 1:36 seconds. Will double check that. Handoffs were HORRID. And I mean...HORRID between me and my brother, and the 3rd runner to anchor. Still a PR, but handoffs have so much more potential for next year.

So yeah, nothing that fantastic, especially compared to last year with a 3rd in 100m, 6th in 200, and 5th in triple jump.

Quick shoutout to all the other great performances by our 4x4 (Varsity and F/S) as well as the 400m runners. Our team is powerful, a great way to end our head coach's FINAL season (after 33 years!!).

Will get a bunch of other pictures up as soon as I upload more tomorrow.

ALSO ! I promise to get more of that Vivobarefoot Evo II review done along with the Adizero Prime SP after my AP test next Tuesday. Busy week(end) ahead of me!
